In the name of God, amen.  I JOSEPH WALL SENr Being of Sound mind and memory do make and Ordain this my Last will and Testament in manner and form following first I recommend my Soul to almighty God and my Body to be decently Buryed at the Discretion of my Executors hereafter To be named and as to the worldly Goods whereof I am possessed I Give and Bequeath in manner and form following (viz)

I give the use and ocupation of this my manor plantation whereon I now Dewell to my Loving wife DEBORAH WALL During the term of her widowhood and likewise Eight cows and Calves and Eight Stears Between ye age of five and one years old and one Riding mare and one Bridle and Sadle.

Item - I Give and Bequeath to my Son JAMES WALL one hundred & fifty Acres of Land being ye Lower part of this my manor plantation containing three hundred Acres and to be Equally Divided from ye River to ye Bay and likewise one hundred acres of Land lying up ye fork Begining at a white oak runing Down to a place called the root from thence along up ye Branch to ye bay he paying twenty two pounds Ten Shillings proclamation money unto my daughter MARY BALLARD and ANN WALL and ELIZABETH WALL to be Equally Divided among my aforesd three Daughters MARY BALLARD part payable upon Demand and ye other two part at ye Day of marriage or at ye age of twenty one years - To my Son JAMES and his heirs.

Item - I Give and Bequeath to my Son JOSEPH WALL ye plantation whereon he now lives wch Land I Bought of JAMES BAKER containing one hundred acres be ye Same more or Less and likewise one hundred acres of Land up ye fork Begining at ye root runing ye Bounds of ye Patent Down to ye bay he paying twenty two pounds Ten Shillings proclamation money to my daughter MARY BALLARD and ANN WALL and ELIZABETH WALL to be Equally Divided among my aforesd three daughters MARY BALLARD part payable upon Demand and the other two part at the day of marriage or at ye age of twenty one years - to my Son JOSEPH and his heirs.

Item - I Give and Bequeath unto my Son HOWEL WALL one hundred acres of Land Begining at Bear Creek runing Down to a place called ye new horse pen to a markt white oak and one feather Bed with its proper furniture and one pewter dish and two pewter Basons and one Iron pott and one Young mare called Polley to my Sd Son HOWELL and his heirs.

Item - It is my will and Desire that all my Just Debts be fully paid and Discharged out of my Stock of cattle of ye neats? kind my Beloved wife first haveing Delivered To her whats Bequathed to her above and then ye remainder to be Equally Divided among my three Sons (viz) JAMES WALL and JOSEPH WALL and HOWEL WALL.

Item - I Give and Bequeath to my Loveing wife DEBORAH WALL all the rest residue and remainder of my household furniture of Every Sort yt is not before Devised away Except one feather Bed and furniture to my Son ROBERT WALL and one Gun which household furniture I Give to my Sd Loveing wife dureing her widowhood and no longer as above.

Item - I Give I Give and Bequeath unto my Son ROBERT WALL after ye Death or marriage of my aforesd loving wife which Shall first happen this my manor plantation whereon I now Dwell and likewise Every thing that is Bequeathed to my Beloved wife as above.

Lastly of this my Last will and Testament I do Constitute and appoint my Son JAMES WALL and my Son JOSEPH WALL Executors and my Beloved wife DEBORAH WALL Executrix hereby utterly revoaking and makeing void all other wills by me heretofore made or Executed in Testimony whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal this 29th day of Decembr 1755.

    At a Court held at Bath for the said County on the second  tuesday in Septr ano Dom 1756.  present his majesties Justices.

Thus certifies that the within last will & testament of JOS. WALL decd was exhibited into Court & proved by SAMl PHILLIPS one of the subscribing Witnesses thereto who swore that the sd decd was of sound & disposing mind and memory when he executed the same, and that LEVI LEIGH JAMES WALL and JOSEPH WALL the other subscribing witnesses set their hands thereto in the presence and JAMES WALL appeared in Court and qualified as Execr to the said Will.  Ordered that the Secretary have notice that Letters testamentary may issue.
