North Carolina} Aprill 30th Anno Dom 1761
Beafort County}In the Name of God Amen.
I William Abbott Resident in the County and province aforesaid being Sick and [ink blot] weak of boddy but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to God for the Same and Calling to Mind the Trancitory and try all [trial] State that Human Nature is under and that it is apointed once for man to dye do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testiment Revoiking and adnulling all other wills or Testiments heretofore by me made Either by word or Writting first and principally I Recomend my Soul into the hands of God that gave it and my boddy to be buried in a Christian Like maner at the discreation of my Executors hereafter named.
Item I give and bequath unto
my grandson [illigible name] son ofWalter Jones one Hundred Acres of Land wherehis father?he now lives Lying and binding upon the mane Road that Leads from Bath Town up the north side of pamtico River and Lying along as the Road Runs to him and his heirs.Lastly I nominate and apoint my Loving Wife Elizabeth Abbott and my Son In Law Walter Jones to be my whole and Sole Exeicutors of this my Last will and testiment to See the same performed in witness whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal the day and year above writting.
