Annie Moser(Moses) Moose

Married George D Moose 1819

In 1880 she told the census taker her parents were born in Maryland.
Researchers have her listed as a Moses but I (Jerry Dagenhart) believe
they are misreading the script for Moser.

I believe she is a daughter of my Jacob or Uncle Henry Moser.

Tribute written by Jerry Dagenhart and read at the cememony for George Dagenhart at Macedonia in 2005.

Many Years have passed since you fought for the Old North State, 142 to be exact and still we do not know your fate. We are told that you died in 1863, but the place where you rest remains a mystery. Another unresolved chapter in the family history.

Today dear Cousin we honor you upon this sacred ground . In a place where your dear widow lies resting safe and sound. Through the mist of time tears come to our eyes as we think of all her lonely years without you by her side. God has seen fit through the efforts of your kith and kin to raise this fine memorial that husband and wife may be together once again.

On that great day when the trumpet sounds on high George and Bedie will live forever in a mansion in the sky. Never again shall a war separate you from the ones you hold so dear. Know that you have been remembered and ever more shall be.

We dedicate this moument for all the world to see. You died a heroes death fighting both Yankees and mortal fear With pride you have been recorded upon the pages of history And proud we are to share a branch upon the Family Tree. Your story shall be told to generations yet unborn, dear cousin. I shall meet you when Gabriel blows his horn.

Margaret Jane was George and Bedie's daughter.
She married a Gryder cousin.
