Will of Jaboz Alford

July 9 1705

In the name of God amen I Jaboz Alford of Choan precinct in the county of albemarle and province of north carolina being of sound memory and perfect health (praysed be god) But knowing the uncertainty of many life and not knowing when  ... almighty god to call me home I make this my will and testament hereby revoking all my other wills and testaments and this to be taken as my last~

 

Imp:  I bequeath my soul to almighty god hoping for salvation in and through the words of  Jesus crist and as for what wordly possessions hath ? give &  to bless me with I bequeath as follows

 

I give and Bequeath all my wholl estate real and personall unto George Taylor,& Sarah Henly, Luke Haman; James Danerall, Mary Danerall, Thomas Danioll, Sarah: James, to be equally divided amongst them excepting too cows and calfs to Susans Jnoson: all of them being of present above named.

 

The land to be sold the division to be made by my Executors after named.

 

Lastly I make and appoint Captain David ?  Jun and Thomas Dolloss of the precinct above for my Executors in witness whereof I have unto Set my hand and so all this 9th of July 1705
